Not that I needed another reason to grow more of the peppers...
I noticed my artichoke plant had ants on it. Because my garden is organic, I didn't want to use any harsh or toxic chemicals to get rid of the ants. So I made a cayenne pepper spray and it works great. Here is the recipe:
2 Tablespoons of dried cayenne pepper (scooping from a cayenne pepper spice jar is fine)
5 drops of dish soap
1 Gallon of water
Whisk the cayenne and dish soap together. Add to a gallon spray bottle or jug. Shake and mix well. Spray on all your plants to get rid of bugs!
